For months, Project Runway LTE is playing hooky. Now, the long-awaited Season 5 is here! This is their first appearance at the Philippine Fashion Week (charot lang!). Ladies, here are your sisters in their fifth installment of Project Runway - LTE

D had a good concept and chose a fitting silhouette. The minimalistic of the cuts and the fabulous hats made it a sure win above the rest. I think my favorites are the hats of D, and the worst are the ill-fitting clothing of A.
1. DESIGNER D - bonggang bongga, tarush, winner, wagi! puedeng puede na sa project runway or fashion show. my only question is, what's with the models smoking a cigarette??? chaka. amateur!
2. DESIGNER C - bongga sana sa start, pero day, pare-pareho hanggang ending!!! katamaran? uninspired? or just plain boring! dilaw kung dilaw na walang katapusan! at wala ding katapusan ang "buntot ng parol" piece! kalowka!
3. DESIGNER B - pantulog kolekshen ba itis??? mumu? 70's gone wild? or gone insane??? sing na lang ako ng "thru the fire", chaka khanda romero!
4. DESIGNER A - uso pa ba ang mga pinoy japayuki? diba ipinagbawal na ng mga hapon yan??? yun lang!
all in all, dissapointing!
DESIGNER D saved your mess girls! but in fairness, malaking-malaki na ang improvements nyo mga day!may nagaganap nang tunay na tahian, makinahan na! but yun na nga, chaka talaga yung iba! so next time, make it werk!!!
Winner! Congratulations sa new season. Bongga. Buhay na buhay na naman ang mga bading.

1. Designer D – very thought provoking, satirical with a twist, tragically ironic. Well done pieces. I felt that the designer gave much thought, although, I believe it has already been done; Inventive use of limiting black and white palette; very cohesive and well structured. Entertaining.
2. Designer A – very well made and feminine. Very cohesive, however, very mainstream (which I think, not good.)
3. Designer D – inventive use of cut-outs. Very detailed, although silhouettes are nothing new.
4. Designer B- over all collection exudes fun and individuality (relative to what is now) however, the looks are too dated (periodic).
Best Piece – baby doll (high waisted) black dress with white piping detail (?) 5th look from Designer D
Worst Piece- 4th look from Designer B for being just plain wrong.

1, Designer C- I love the bright yellow and black that you put together! The design of the clothes would be something I can wear out to a big evening event. I would have liked it more also if there were dramatic changes to some of the lower part of the skirts. On second thought if it was changed I wouldn't be able to wear it out. :) Don't mind me.
2. Designer A- I love the color as well, very put together, I can see how this would be the style of
Eva! I love the baby doll type of dress that gives an effect of having some hips. The only reason why I didn't choose this as my first pic is because of the eye catching color of Designer C, sorry! Your design is very wearable outside of the runway.
3. Designer D- I loved it! if this was just judging originality this would be the top! Very nice, outstanding with the design, though I don't see myself or other people wearing it outside. It shows me that you took your time with this one.
4. Designer B- Very out there, 70's perhaps? I just don't see this wearable unless it's 70's party of some kind. A little loose doesn't give any body to the models.

D: Winner! Bold, different, may point of view, just runway ready collection! Promising designer to watch.
A: The rag dresses were smart and witty, should have developed the collection out of those pieces. Very feminine clothes, just needed more concept devt.
C: HIt or miss collection, very repetitive, some were nice some were just obviously parang naubusan sa budget or oras kaya naging monotonous. The head pieces were cartoonish, parang chambermaid sa The Jetsons.
B: Fun collection, no new take on the 70's look though so halos walang dating. Some were costumy, and some were just plain and nothing new.
Best Piece: tie between 5th and 6th Dress of D
Worst Piece: long gown of C, parang crate and barrel ang pattern sa back.

win si D for being so daring and bold. and got most designs through. a few were like duh but most were bongguh. margiela-ic ang number 5, sya dapat ang last piece. the first piece was a good apperitif. while i didnt understand the silmarillionesque design of one gown, the checks of another were so in chic!
second si A for trying to be bold. deadma na kung hindi ito patok sa pinas. pero i love the showing off. lyka got nice legs (ay walang kinalaman sa chika.) although the jellyfish dress was somewhat.... er. and the last piece, if it were a bit more billowy, i'd love it.
third si C for more effort. hindi ko lang maintindihan ang design - whether it was a sticker ba or something... the design on the last piece was.... hmmm. almost all of them looked the same to me.
fourth si B, while some designs were fun, the only edge she has over Designer C is: they all looked the same to me.
best design: D's No. 5.

THE D COLLECTION... winner sakin toh... from the design, to the color, to the execution... PANALO.
THE B COLLECTION... chaka lang nung wigalet pero believable yung mga ensembles....
THE A COLLECTION... may mga taryful na pieces pero yung iba masyadong maiiksi... nakalimutan yatang mag leggings hehehehe
THE C COLLECTION... yung parang artwork na cut out achuchu ang nagpachaka sa mga designs... kasi paralang siyang dinikit na ewan... yung last piece sa collection na toh ang taray sana... kaso yung dilaw na nakasalpak sa likod ng gown, eeeeeeeeeew... sinira nun yung damit....
best pieces from collection D... DRESS 1 and 5... gusto ko magkaron nun.... hehehehehe

hindi po ako makakaboto this season due to the chakaness of the signal dito sa bukid.
however, my dearest manang will vote in my behalf. we have thesame taste naman eh.

the best outfit was designer D's 2nd look.
the worst was designer A's 7th. fringe overload na parang dumaan sa shredder.
overall:
4th: designer B, the pants are not flattering at all. looks like ninang couture to me.
3rd: designer C, although i love cut-outs, it wasn't executed perfectly.
2nd: designer A, wearable dresses, few misses though especially on the finishing.
winner: designer D, dramatic. unusual concept but the dresses are well-made. i also love the first look but the details on the second one is amazing. the lack of color is not a minus, who would've thought that it's inspired by someone 'religious', the outfits are kinda eclectic and a little provocative but still wearable. well, most of them.
congratulations to all of you. A++ definitely.

My votes:
1st place- D simply the standout. the only decent collection, very creative, and well made!
2nd Place- B fun factor made urs more interesting than the other bottom 2. hindi trying hard.
3rd place -A kalat kalat ang concept. hindi malinis ang pagkatahi ng ibang dresses, di ko ma gets.
4th Place - C nakakatawa ang iba, ok naman sana ang iba, pero wala ring direksyon tulad ni B. hindi pinagisipan, mukhang last minute alterations ang mga damit.
BEST : D's number 1,5,& 6
WORST: C's long gown, parang honeycomb sa pwet.
